The kitchen hours are from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Please note, the last order is accepted 30 minutes before kitchen closing time.
On Sundays at noon, we only serve our weekly changing Sunday menu.
Head chef Bernd Schneider, together with sous chef Patrick Jacobs and the kitchen team, focuses on creative, high-quality yet down-to-earth components in a relaxed atmosphere. With great love and care, they prepare true culinary delights every day anew, featuring regional specialties such as game dishes from the Hochwald, brook trout from local waters, or cheese from the region, complemented by international delicacies.
The personal leadership in winemaking by Herbert Weis, combined with the culinary skills of our kitchen team, makes us unique as hosts and allows us to manage all areas from the ground up hand in hand.
Our restaurant Vinum is divided into two parts. The first part was built in 1970 by Angela Weis. The interior design with Swiss pine wood and warm colors, complemented by the round tiled stove in the center of the room, creates a cozy atmosphere where you actually don't want to get up anymore. The second part of our restaurant Vinum is the Grünhäuser Hall. With large panoramic windows, you have the ideal view of the Grüneberg with the Grünhaus Castle.
Whenever the sun shines, the spacious terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of the Ruwertal and Schloss Grünhaus is a popular meeting point for hotel guests and day visitors.
